Waterfall of Limon

Close to Las Terrenas, El Limon, an authentic village, protects a jewel of the peninsula, the Limon waterfall fed by the Sierra Samana river.Climbing the Limon Falls, on horseback or on foot, is the occasion of a walk, an hour, in a tropical vegetation, to travel the hills with a splendid panoramic view over the valley before reaching the waterfall and getting into its rather fresh waters. The bravest can try jumping 50 meters high, strong impressions guaranteed.

The ascent to the Limon Falls is organized, preferably in the morning with a typical lunch at the Parada of Limon open for 9 am to 4 pm.
