LAS TERRENAS:

THE BEACHES

 Playa Las Ballenas, This long stretch of fine sand, more than a kilometer long, in the shade of the palm trees, is like a pathway from the center of town to Loma Bonita. Las Ballenas beach may be more lively than its neighbors, but it still has many areas of tranquility.

Playa Las Terrenas, in the direction of Playa Popy, it starts at the fishermen's beach, where the boats arrive daily from fishing and it looks like a line of sand that borders a large turquoise lagoon.

Playa Popy, the most well known of the local beaches where Dominican families gather each weekend to enjoy the sea and the day off.

 From Punta Popy, choose your beach: for several kilometers discover a succession of deserted and enchanting beaches. The furthest, after Portillo, is the preferred of the kite surfers ... the big kites in the sky will point the way.
