Whale season is open!

Sighting humpback whales is absolutely the main attraction of Samaná Bay, from January to March, thanks to the fascinating annual visit of these magnificent cetaceans.

Forever, several thousand humpback whales from the North Atlantic meet each year in the warm waters of the bay to give birth or mate.

The marine biologist Kim Beddall, living in Santa Barbara de Samaná for 30 years, proposes to share her passion and expertise with tourists from all over the world and organizes a boat observation of these giants of the seas. A magnificent and moving exceptional spectacle, a rendezvous with Nature not to be missed.
