Monkey Land, Samaná

Runners Adventures offers an exciting and unique experience in Samana, suitable for children and adults, in Monkey Land Park where visitors can approach, discover and play with so cute squirrel monkeys.

This 2-hectare natural park is the refuge of about forty Saimiri monkeys who live in freedom in this jungle space they adopt as their home.

Visitors, in groups of 20 persons, meet them in the middle of their territory and feed these gourmets with raw fruits, vegetables, sunflower seeds and other peanuts. These charming, intelligent, curious and funny animals love human companionship and come to play with their visitors, jumping on their shoulders, eating in the hand, pausing for cameras when they don’t try to make a selfy.
The tour lasts about 45 minutes and can be combined with the Zip LINE nearby the Monkey Land Park, a good way to discover the Samaná’s Bay in altitude. Sensations guaranteed.
