With Bus:

When you arrived to the airport of Las Americas of Santo Domingo, you have to take a cab (700 Dop) that will taking you to Las Americas's bus stop, where all the bus leave. This is the more popular and economic option to travel and to discover the autentism of the country.

The price of the bus to Las Terrenas is 400 DOP(8$) per person and the duration trip is 2h15.

We can imagine that your flight has come very early in Las Amercias Airport and that you want to walk on the Colonial City of Santo Domingo before enjoing Las Terrenas.

You have the option to take a taxi up to the historical center of Santo Domingo (1000DOP) and to walk on the historical streets of the colonial city. The advantage is that the bus station is close to this touristical area and will permit you to make the most of the heart of the city, until 3 pm the last express bus leaving up to Las Terrenas.

*It is useful to specify that only the company Caribe Express stops has the exit of the highway northeast (at the Station of Gaz). It will be necessary to you to take another bus of 30 minutes to get back to Las Terrenas (frequent bus). The other private companies do the direct destination.
